Editorial principles
DigitalTall focuses on a narrow subject: understanding height measurements. Every page should answer a real reader question, explain the method used and distinguish an exact conversion from an estimate.
Research and sourcing
Exact unit conversions are based on internationally defined relationships. Health-adjacent explanations are written conservatively and should be checked against reputable clinical or public-health references before publication or material revision. Sources should be linked where they help a reader verify a claim.
Tool testing
Calculators are tested with boundary values, common examples, different unit systems, empty inputs and mobile layouts. A passing calculation test does not replace an editorial review of labels, assumptions and disclaimers.
Updates and corrections
We update pages when formulas, cited guidance, site functionality or legal requirements change. Substantive corrections should be made promptly. Minor style changes may be made without a correction note.
Commercial independence
Advertising may support DigitalTall, but advertisers do not determine calculator outputs or editorial conclusions. Sponsored material, if introduced, will be identified clearly.
Use of automated assistance
Software may assist with spelling, formatting, testing or drafting workflows. Published material should be reviewed for factual accuracy, originality, usefulness and consistency with this policy by the site owner or an accountable editor.
